Mental Wealth UK
Mental Wealth UK is a non-profit mental health & wellbeing organisation launching to represent students and serve campuses.
It will build upon the continued aims of The Mental Wealth Project (offering Awards, Events & Speakers), serve as a hub for local student groups & initiatives, and drive the campus wellbeing agenda by offering services to universities.

The Mental Wealth Project
The Mental Wealth Project, founded in 2009, aims to:
For the 2010/2011 academic year, the project will be hosted by Mental Wealth UK, and delivered by a student committee made up of students from across the UK. The committee members and objectives for this year will be announced via the new website - coming soon!
- Support the creation of student-led mental health & wellbeing groups & initiatives across the UK.
- Connect them with students, staff & wider stakeholders.
- Create a united vision for campuses, and share the information & resources needed to achieve it.
- The website has had over 3000 visitors from 24 countries.
- We've developed guidance documents, and promotional posters, that have been downloaded by representatives from over 50% of UK universities.
- Meetings have been held with representatives from 45+ universities to discuss launching groups and running campaigns, and we have presented at various conferences including meetings for Heads of Counselling Services, and Mental Health Advisors.
- We have been been involved with/supported various mental health & wellbeing campaigns & initiatives in universities around the UK.
- The project has been shortlisted for Leeds Citizenship Award & Healthy Universities Award, and was discussed at the annual NUS conference, with student-led initiatives commended in their report.
