Introducing Group ELEVEN of our 25: University of Oxford

We are thrilled to announce that number eleven  of our twenty-five '25by2012' groups is Mind your Head, a new group founded in November 2011 by students of the University of Oxford. Already the group have started running mental health awareness campaigns around the Oxford colleges. They are planning a launch event and series of activites for Wellbeing Week at the university. The Co-chair, Tatiana Cutts (pictured), had this to say about linking in with Mental Wealth UK:

"We are very glad to be part of the Mental Wealth initiative and are looking forward to working together to begin the long journey towards addressing the stigma associated with mental illness. The enthusiasm of the students working in the background of the 'Mind Your Head" campaign has been amazing and we cannot wait to see how events unfold as the campaign musters support and finds its feet here in Oxford."

The group has targeted creating a more accepting environment around mental health, raising awareness of mental health problems faced by students and actively promoting wellbeing amongst the local student population.

We're delighted to welcome them on board, and wish them the best of luck.
