Introducing Group FOURTEEN of our 25: Sheffield Hallam University
Posted on 16th December, 2011
We are thrilled to announce that number fourteen of our twenty-five '25by2012' groups is Sheffield Hallam Mental Wealth Campaign Group, a new group founded in November 2011 by Sheffield Hallam University. An MSc Occupational Therapist student, Alice Kilner is taking the lead on the group. On affiliating with Mental Wealth UK, the Sheffield Hallam Students Union Welfare and Community Officer Carl Hawkes had to say,
"Sheffield Hallam Students Union are extremely excited about affiliating with Mental Wealth UK. We are committed to running exciting and interactive campaigns and projects to help support the students of Sheffield Hallam to make a positive difference in the fight to de-stigmatise mental health problems."
The groups aims to campaign for a more mentally wealthy student community, to provide extra support to students and to tackle the stigma attached to mental health problems.
We're delighted to welcome them on board, and wish them the best of luck.
