Papyrus Award
In partnership with PAPYRUS, the UK's young suicide prevention charity, we are pleased to offer funding awards to support student-led mental wealth initiatives. In total we have 10 awards of £300 each to give away, which will be split into three rounds across the 2010/2011 academic year.
Round 1
With the first round we had a very high standard of applications from 22 universities. The winners were Nottingham University Psychology Society, for 'We Play' a wellbeing activity based around the Nintendo Wii AND David Walmsley at Queen Mary, University of London for an event on Perfectionism & Wellbeing. The second round of the award closed in December, and was solely for student-led initiatives. The quality of the entries was again exceptional, and there were four winners. The awards went to Liverpool University, Cardiff University, Glasgow Caledonian, and St. Andrews.
Round 3
The third and final round closed in March 2011. We were delighted to award four excellent student-led projects.
